(More customer reviews)I purchased several Moen fixtures for a new bathroom: towel bars, hooks, towel ring, etc. all in the oil rubbed bronze finish to match other fixtures. These are the first Moen towel bars and related items I have purchased and installed. Previous experience with other name brands has left me skeptical about the mounting design and ease of instllation... but these Moen products were a very pleasant surprise!
As most bathroom hardware does these days, Moen incorporates small set screws in their design - but in a much better way than others I have installed. The set screw is easy to set and adjust, and holds once set! Unlike others, these fixtures are not loose or wobbly after installation. Additionally, the wall mount hardware is made very well - much better than others. Very sturdy and well designed - it is made so that you only have one correct way to mount it, and the portion of the wall mount that holds the visible fixture is very sturdy and remains square!
I take away one star for the very thin material used in the paper holder arm... the unit is adequate, but feels very light and flimsy compared to the rest of the hardware... a few more thousands of an inch thickness would have been nice.
