(More customer reviews)I installed the kit in a bathroom vanity sink which was not draining because of inadequate venting. Initially after installation, the sink still would not drain and I could hear gurgling through the bathtub drain. I ran water through the bathtub drain which seemed to create enough pressure to open the AAV valve which allowed the sink to drain quickly and it's been working fine ever since. It was very frustrating when the newly installed AAV didn't seem to be working. But it may be that it needs a little extra "push" the first time.
