(More customer reviews)After reading about water hammer solutions, I chose to try this arrestor because it installed easily and close to the problem valve on my toilet. Seems the valves on many toilets shut off very quickly causing water hammer. It was very easy to install right under the supply to the toilet tank using an adjustable wrench. Just shut off the supply valve undo the line to the tank, screw the arrestor on the tank and hook the supply line back up to the arrestor. Took about 15 minutes including clean up of a bit of water that dripped out. Works like a charm and went from a jarring boom to a "dink". Worked for me as an easy fix and probably worth a try for you too.
