(More customer reviews)I was not familiar with Pegasus faucets, but my wife liked the design so we took a chance. It seems well made, with a couple of negatives. The small nut holding the spout in place is difficult to reach and handle with a faucet wrench. One of the plastic wing nuts commonly used would have been nice. In any event, it installed easily before the sink was installed in the vanity cabinet. The instructions are very brief and do not mention that a cut in the mounting washer has to be installed toward the back. I got mine on wrong and the pop up lift rod does not install correctly. I'll have to fix that one day. Also there is a plastic part of the pop up lift assembly that is really flimsy. The lift assembly also gets fouled up in the tubing that connects the handles assemblies to the spout. It will probably work OK once I get it together, but it could have been designed better.
After installation the cold water faucet leaked onto the counter top. I pulled it apart and found a fouled up O-ring (not unusual). There is an assistance number provided. I had no trouble getting through and they sent me new cartridge assemblies for both hot and cold faucets free of charge and no questions asked. The parts arrived in a few days. Thank you Pegasus!
I don't know how long the faucet will last, but the good service is certainly reassuring. We also bought a Pegasus sink/counter top.
