(More customer reviews)One of the major reasons we installed this (and other brushed nickel trim) is because it would theoretically reduce water spotting. The shower head doesn't spot. The spigot and faucet trim doesn't spot. Unfortunately both this kit and the brushed nickel safety grab bar (not by Danze) both do take on water spots. There is little we can do about the grab bar - it is solidly and safely attached against the tiles without damaging them. Not to mention I doubt the next grab bar would match the screw holes. This trim kit on the other hand, can and might be replaced.
That said, it works just fine and the price beat the prices of other brushed nickel trim kits. You get what you pay for I suppose. In the end it will come down to whether or not my folks (this was part of their bathroom remodel) care enough to spend the money on a better trim kit.
