(More customer reviews)The drain stopper in the sink my ground floor bathroom in my house failed. Suddenly the pull-up device was no longer linked with the stopper. Something had rusted out and it was broken. Lowe's had a "universal" kit that didn't work. It was plastic and broke after literally two uses.
So to the internet... I found this. Half the price of what I'd already bought, but it had everything I would need. I knew it would work. And it did! I didn't use most of the kit, but I still consider it a great deal I got.
Just to clarify what I'm raving about:
I only used the parts on the right side of the picture. I did not use the plastic drain pipe, or any of that stuff. I only needed the parts to enable the open/close of the drain - that's the metal piece with the holes in it, the metal bar, the little clip, and maybe a washer or gasket. But those parts are exactly what I needed.
