(More customer reviews)Which is better Kohler, Price Pfister, Moen? My hubby, who can do plumbing and rehabbing better than any professional, swears Price Pfister is the best. But this wasn't for our home and hubby wasn't around to do the work. The plumber who installed it said that Price Pfister was not in the same top category as Kohler and Moen. But I think he also said that Kohler, Moen and Price Pfister products are not the same quality at Home Depot and Lowes as their products at showrooms. My personal opinion is that Kohler probably offers a slightly better product but not a better value. I think you are paying more for the advertising than the quality. If I were to buy new plumbing fixtures again, I'd spend some time at the library or money online to find out what Consumer Reports has to say. I'm not sure but I think our last home had some Moen products that didn't live up to their reputation. Our current home has some fixtures by none of the 3 I've mentioned and they are awful.
So, as for this specific product, I love it. I think it is a great value. But one of the other Price Pfister products that I bought at Home Depot and the plumber installed had a constant drip. After a second unsuccessful attempt to fix it, the plumber said it was the manufacturer's fault. I don't know if I believe him. I think it was the Realtor who later saw the drip and finally fixed it without any new/replacement parts.
