(More customer reviews)I ordered a 1-1/2" pop up. I double checked all my paperwork, etc. It sure was for a 1-1/2" unit. They shipped a 1-1/4" unit. Problem is, before it got to the point of being installed and the mistake discovered, it was sent out to get silver plated, because the main pipe was brass, visually exposed in the installation, and we wanted a look to match chrome. I know I own half this mistake, as the box label said 1-1/4", and if I noticed it I could have returned it, but nevertheless, it would have been nice had they filled the order correctly. Now I have a silver-plated mistake. It's a beautiful looking piece now. Make sure you double check yours when you receive it. As far as the valve itself is concerned, it is pretty well made. I subtracted two stars not for the order fulfillment error, but for the poorly designed sliding chrome clip that's supposed to hold the metal strap to the chrome pop-up lever rod. It won't stay in place. It easily slips back and forth on the rod after being installed, and fails to securely hold a position. I've seen this problem once before on another manufacturer's unit, and it requires that you have to crawl under the sink every two or three weeks to put the clip back on, or cobble something together to help to keep it from working itself off, like tape or adhesive or whatever. Substitution of the Dantz clip with the new clip from the original Kohler assembly we didn't use completely cured the problem. Once the differently designed Kohler clip was in place, it couldn't be dislodged with an Exocet missile. It really grabbed onto that chrome rod. My advice to Danze: get your clips from Kohler. Everything else is fine.
