(More customer reviews)The single lever handle operates smoothly and the finish remains untarnished more than a year after installation. One lever has worked loose but simply unscrew the decorative cover and a little tightening with a screwdriver takes care of that. The long drain control lever is behind the unit so make sure there is enough room to reach the actuator if you intend to use the drain.
Of great concern is the fact that of the three installed units, two have failed. Both while we were at home. The first was a water connection tube bursting in a powder room. The plastic tubing blew through the surrounding steel sheathing. My shop vac pulled the wood filler from the the nail holes on the hardwood floor but there was far too much water to mop up and it was running under trim and down the hallway to a carpeted area. Fortunately, much of the water leaked to the basement below. The manufacturer sent replacement supply lines and after about three hours of work and trying to figure out how to dismantle the unit witout damaging it, the repair was complete.
Unfortunately, the lastest failure was in an upstairs master bath with a dual vanity and two of the same fixture installed. Same failure mode - the plastic tubing inside the steel sheathing blew right through and in the short time it took to get to the valve and close it, water was everywhere. This time the water ran down the outside wall behind the vanity. Hopefully, the insulation is dry but it came through on the tile floor in the kitchen below, over the sill and into the garage on the outside of the wall ond down into the basement on the inside. This unit has not yet ben repaired. My thought is that the existing water lines are too great a risk to justify using them. I'll either have to identify a reliable replacement tube or remove them before I find the ceiling on the floor. Not sure what that male fitting inside the unit is but looks like BSPP. The future of the faucets is unclear at this time and two out of three IS bad!
