CLAMP WALL RECESS FUTURA Review

(More customer reviews)I highly recommend this clamp. It's stronger than the Gatco, and is probably easier to install. I ordered three of these to replace all the holders in my house. The holders I ordered (and also highly recommend!) are the Franklin Brass 9097SN Toilet Paper Holder with Beveled Edges, Recessed, Satin Nickel. They are of high quality and are easy to install with the Futura clamps.
A couple tips:
1) When uninstalling the original in-wall holder, try not to unscrew it all the way. If you do, everything will drop into your wall. If you go most of the way, you should be able to wiggle all the hardware out.
2) Start the two screws into the clamp before attempting to install the new one. Then ease the clamp into the hole and align the holder. Finally, screw it all the way in.

(More customer reviews)I'd seen this demonstrated on Bob Villa's show and thought it was the bomb, so when we remodeled, I plumbed the tub filler to the ceiling. Then I tried to save a few bucks by cobbling up my own nozzle/aerator. No good - no matter what I tried, the water splatters all over when it hits the tub from an 8-foot ceiling. So I broke down and bought the Kohler K-923.
This tub filler is excellent - no splatter! It's very well machined and I can see why it cost so much. Take your time and follow the installation directions carefully. You have to run it full-on because at partial flows, it will splatter and not be a perfect clear column of water. Also, despite what it says about only using certain Kohler control valves to get enough flow, I'm using a Moen single handle model and it works fine.

Homedepot's price is around 5 dollars so this web site is totally rip off. Well, it works if you are Picasso and ready to spend 10 days to fix an issue. Its very sticky and hard to apply evenly item. Bubbles appear on the surface covered immediately after application. So you have to wait 24 hours than sand it apply it again and repeat the cycle until it will be even on the surface. It says white on the box however its more gray than white. Works ok for flat surfaces, but for sides try to use another product. Not recommended to buy.

Moen 7423 Chateau Chrome One-Handle Low Arc Kitchen Faucet (Not CA / VT Compliant) Review

(More customer reviews)I have installed / rebuilt many faucets over the years. When the handle broke on a 10yr old American Standard my wife replaced it with this.
I gave this one star because this is the epitome of a poorly engineered 'name brand high dollar' product.
To me true quality withstands the test of time and have a substantial service life.
At first glance the quality seemed pretty nice, substantial heft from a lot of brass, heavy chrome plating, smooth action.
Then came the install...different than anything I've seen. A single (steel) 9/16-ish nut presses against a steel 'cup', 'securing' the faucet assembly to the sink. I emphasize steel because most grade schoolers know steel rusts around water and in time this will be a nightmare to whoever has to remove it! (I coated everything with Vasoline to slow oxidation). To make install harder, this nut is nested between the hot/cold water connections. Moen provides a plastic 'tool' to reach and tighten it. When I tightened the nut to the tool broke. I struggled w/a basin wrench to tighten such that the asy wouldn't turn.
I had removed a a Moen several months later for my sister-in-law and sure enough the 'steel nut' approach was a NIGHTMARE!!! I ended up chopping / hacking until I got it free (thank goodness it not a cast iron sink!)
1yr later the faucet started to drip. I could not remove the stem so I had to buy a $13 'Moen Stem Removal' tool. Instead of being able to buy a rebuild kit I had to buy the whole $14 stem! (In all fairness this is an OK price for a OE stem but it is mostly plastic)
This is 1/3 the price of the faucet!
In my ignorance I removed the spout to see how to remove stem. The O-rings in the faucet mysteriously stretched and not longer seal - I hope I can buy them!!! (these were not removed from their grooves so I couldn't have stretched them)
Needless to say - We've sworn to STAY AWAY FROM MOEN!!"

(More customer reviews)We recently selected the Danze Fairmont bathroom faucets for our master bathroom remodel mainly because the flow is directed outward a bit towards the user, so the water hits near the center of the sink instead of hitting the inside back of the sink (making it easier to wash up). [We are using an under-mounted Kohler sink such as Kohler K-2319-55 Bancroft undercounter lavatory, Innocent Blush, with faucet holes drilled through the granite as close to the sink as possible per Kohler's sink diagram.] We also added a matching Danze Fairmont undermounted soap dispenser, similar to Danze D495940RBD Accessories Fairmont Soap and Lotion Dispenser, Distressed Bronze.
Quality of the Danze fixtures seems very good and we would buy them again. Our only complaint is that the flow rate is a bit low on maximum setting. Also, the water flow is not aerated as far as I can tell, which is fine with us.
