there is a plastic incert for flowing the water into the U/bottle part...I'm wondering if hair could be caught by it??? if so after time passes it could be cleaned out by opening it up ,in the same way as a P-trap...the insert is removable as well...time will tell not a concern only a part that I'm courious about

(More customer reviews)After a hospital stay, my elderly mother had to get used to taking a shower at home again, by herself. It was hard for her to reach all the way up to the original handheld shower bracket, but awkward to just leave the showerhead dangling loose. Her bathroom had just been redone, and she didn't want to get one of those expensive bar showers where the showerhead can slide higher and lower. She also didn't want holes from such an installation.
I finally found this portable bracket, and she is again able to take showers alone. I had a little trouble getting it to stay in place on the upper wall of her acrylic tub unit, but it attached fine at a more stable spot lower down.
I wish I had ordered two to begin with--now I want one for our house, to make things easier when I'm cleaning the tub or washing the dog!

(More customer reviews)The faucet is beautiful and very smooth to operate. It is a great faucet. I have installed many faucets over the years, and this Danze is difficult to keep properly positioned while tightening into place. Clearly much easier to do with two people. Also, the included drain had to be re-installed on both sinks where we used this faucet - the included rubber gasket is ridged so that it leaks - as such, on re-installation, we coated the outside of the gasket with silicon, to eliminate the leaks - then it worked fine. Other than that, no issues or complaints. Would buy again, but installition requires strong handiman or professional skills.

(More customer reviews)I have to say this stuff worked better than I thought. After 30+ years of hardwater stains, about 1/3 of my tub was black. I followed the instrutions completely and it looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone. It has been a few months and there are no signs of wear. A few things to note:
1. you will need a respirator style mask the fumes are bad while applying it.
2. you have to watch the runs if you put it on too thick (I got runs but it's so bright you can't really see them.
3. you can't get it wet for 5 days once finished (minor problem if it is your only shower)
Knowing these thing going in, this should be a fairly simple project with great results. Much, much easier than replacing the tub.

I ordered the extra sink stopper and splash guard as I couldn't tell if it was included with the disposal. When we opened the box we found that it was included, so no need to order one unless you just want an extra one. Don't forget to remove the little splash plug that's inserted in the port for the dishwasher drain (if you have a dishwasher). Good luck

(More customer reviews)I searched long and hard for the perfect oil rubbed bronze 8" widespread faucet for my master bath remodel. I was pleased to find that the Kingston Brass Magellan was on of my favorite designs at more than half the price of big names like Moen and Kohler.
The saying you get what you pay for unfortunately holds true for this product. I have had the faucet installed for just over 2 months now and the finish is already wearing off! Underneath the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is a shiny silver which sticks out like a sore thumb. I have not used any type of abrasive cleaners to clean the faucet, only water itself which I believe it should be able to handle. Everything else looks so nice in my first total bathroom remodel that i'm really disappointed and am going to throw this one in the trash for a higher quality product.
Somethings are too good to be true :(

(More customer reviews)Great value for the money, works well and included everything you would need - a word of caution - we had a 3 hole sink and the faucet holes were too small by about 1/8 of an inch. I had to use a metal file and (carefully) expand the hole to the same size as the plate.
The other review says you need to buy a few nuts to install this, I didn't.

After no luck, we were happy to discover them available online. This actually seems to be a pretty common design, implemented by various manufacturers at different price points. We ordered from Amazon because we have become addicted to the great customer service.
